Poker used to be associated with commonplace games of chance, stacked cards, dingy venues and smoke filled rooms; during today's poker boom, however, it is recognized as a proper strategy game.
Poker is a game where a good player can beat a bad one in the long term by careful consideration and strategic action. There is no one strategy for playing poker, rather, there are many approaches all based on the same foundations of mathematics, probability, and player psychology.
